  1. So why so many out of state and why is she not seen at the VFMA?

  2. Well, I'm just guessing, but presumably it's because she got that many requests to speak from out of state organizations. You reckon?

As for the rest, what makes you think you're entitled to that information? Are you a VaFlagger? Are you with the VMFA? Then what's your interest, except for your incessant need to find (or, more likely, fabricate) something to trash Southern heritage with?

Why don't you try to explain what legitimate interest you floggers have in anything having to do with the VaFlaggers?

  3. Corey, how long does it take Simpson to read here, and email or message you with the next question to ask? Just curious, you both being teachers who presumably have classes to teach during the day, and all....

  4. I am not in contact with Brooks at all.

I do have breaks in the day, but I asked that question last night...don't know why it took so long to get posted.

My interest with the flaggers is countering all their misinformation and shining a light on it.

  5. You have as much legitimate interest in the VaFlaggers as Skid Billeaudeaux and the Burtons have in you.

  6. In the modern context, these partisans of the North; are worried that mainstream Southrons will start to ask questions about the North's relationship to the rest of the country. By mainstream, I mean the average person, here in Dixie, who is not especially interested in the subject, per se. But may be suaded in that direction by the controversy over Confederate monuments, flags and symbols. For now, many Southrons question the actions of the Federal Government. But haven't recognised the relationship between the Northern states, their internal policies, and Federal policy. If they ask the right questions, it will lead them to Colonial history. Studying that history will lead them to certain conclusions. Namely that the 16 Northern states are a separate, distinct nation within the "Union". A nation, which has from the beginning, persued its own political, cultural and economic objectives. Which are quite apart from the rest of the country, and stand in stark opposition to the natural interests of both the South and interior West. The so called "red states." The so called "Civil War" started in 1790 and has never ended. These floggers are afraid that this one flag in Virginia will trigger a wave of sentiment that will end the North's political privileges and dominance in the "Union."
