The Merger

UPDATE   UPDATE   UPDATE   UPDATE

As of Wednesday, November 20, there are six comments following Simpson's post about the merger.

Four of 'em are about moi.

END OF UPDATE

FROM CROSSROADS:

James Knox
Connie Asstain is already blogging her displeasure with another poorly photoshopped pic.

Brooks D. Simpson
Let’s not emulate the crudeness of Connie and her friends.
LOL!  The crude photoshoppin' is none of my doing. I only changed three words. Here's the graphic as it appeared  on Kevin Levin's ha-ha "memory" flog:

It's not there now. Good thing I grabbed it when I did.

As for crudeness, that's nothing compared to the flogger desire to denigrate, evilize, hurt and harm, which is routinely exhibited by Simpson and his floggerette peanut gallery.

This comment by James Knox is a perfect illustration. Facts don't matter to these people. The fact that I did not photoshop this image, except for the text in the brown box -- that I did not design or create it, matters not. What matters to James Knox is the put down, the denigration, of people he hates, truth and facts be hanged....

  1. Regardless of Mr. Knox's tasteless comment, your changing of the words is misleading...as you planned it.

How will this merger hurt the artifacts or Confederate Heritage. If fact it will make more of the collection visable.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I wasn't complaining about his tasteless namecalling, but about his automatic assumption that I created the graphic. I didn't. I changed SOME of the wording on the brown box. And no, it isn't an attempt to mislead, but a prediction about the mission of these museums... to evilze the Confederacy. Tredegar is already doing that. If they merge, the MOC will do that, too.

Corey, it will make the artifacts "more visible" in a Confederacy-bashing manner.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Actually Connie you and the Flaggers/Neo-Confederates think it will be confederate bashing only because you do not agree with the history of the war.

You don't like the fact that slavery will play a central theme in the display or museum, but it was the central theme in the decision to secede and go to war.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Connie, you know what would be refreshing coming from you and the Virginia Flaggers would be some type of counter argument based on research and facts with sources etc...you know like a formal paper or something instead of just a rant or complaint.

The museums present the history if you don't like it give them something to argue for or against not just some whining about confederate bashing or anti-confederate complaining.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I hear the merger is due to financial difficulties - the MOC having lost a lot of donors in recent years due to its PC inclinations.

So now its going to improve its financial situation and attract more donors by merging with the "all-inclusive" ACWC which is certain to demonize and misrepresent the Confederacy in every way?

    Yeah, sure...

    ReplyDelete
  6. No, Corey, I think it will be Confederacy-bashing because it will be -- based on PC lies.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Corey, if you don't like my rants, you are welcome to not come here, read, and comment, capisce?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Right, Border Ruffian. Most ordinary Southerners who have an interest in the civil war are biased toward the Confederacy. The people biased in favor to the north are academics, civil rights activists and assorted diversity/inclusion/equality types (like Kristen Konate). That's not enough leftists to keep the museum going, and those who appreciate the Confederacy have been made unwelcome.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm sure the people who donated to the museum did so with an understanding of how the items would be presented. And I'm sure that the MOC was established with a certain purpose in mind (and described in legal documents). I don't believe the "all-inclusive" (: anti-Confederacy) ACWC will fit those purposes.

    ReplyDelete
  10. If the museum does that, Border Ruffian, it will be a gross betrayal of the donors.

  11. Corey, as you will no doubt find out soon, I have denied your friend request on FB, and your request to join Due South or Backsass, which ever it was. Joined FB in 2009, didn't post until Oct 2013. You realize that sends up red flags, don't you?

Just out of curiosity, how many other fake profiles did you create 2, 3, four years ago that you haven't used yet?

    ReplyDelete
  12. None, Connie. Have no aliases as I have told you.

I can see Backsass as it is open and dont care to see Due South...I have friends who do that for me.

    Deny me all you want...

    ReplyDelete
  13. Corey, I don't believe you. You have a history of lying. The fake profiles themselves were/are lies.

Fenster Henhawk, Tyler Ratke, Victor Hatcher, Robert Billy, Hunter South, Max Weber, Marcus Gimblee, Jeffery Reynolds ... more I can't even remember now....

    1. I believe, Connie, you left out "Billy Yank."

  14. Oh, and a the new one, Greg Johnson.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The MOC was originally established as the "Confederate Memorial Literary Society, for the collection, preservation, and exhibition of the literature, works of art and science, relics, emblems, and other memorials of the late war between the States" (-from Charter).

A memorial is to honor someone - not dishonor them. Otherwise, may I place an interpretive plaque at the Lincoln Memorial?

    ReplyDelete
  16. So Connie, can you be specific...you know give exact examples of how the MOC or Tred. has dishonored the Confederate soldier?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I do not have any alias named Greg Johnson...God's Honest Truth.

Plus as I have said before all my aliases from the past are no longer in my hands. I was asked to stop using aliases to get into FB sites and I have been a good boy and ended them.

You can list all the names in the world and the only name I have on FB is Corey Meyer.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I will own up to Tyler Ratke, Fenster, Robert, Hunter and Victor, but Jeffery, Max and Marcus are not me...never have been.

Billy Yank is used due to logining in with my Yahoo mail account and has been well known for years.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Corey-
"...how the MOC or Tred. has dishonored the Confederate soldier?"

That's not the point. The MOC was established to be a memorial to the Confederacy.

    Nothing else.

The proposed merger will violate the MOC Charter.

    ReplyDelete
  20. What does it take to get through to you? You can say you don't have any fake profiles until you're blue in the face; I won't believe you. At one time, you denied that Tyler Fenster, Robert, Hunter and Victor were your profiles, too.

You are not trustworthy. Liars and frauds aren't trustworthy.

Incidentally, by admitting to Victor, you just admitted that you were the porno blogger.

    ReplyDelete
  21. So BR, expanding the visibility of the collection of the MOC is not in line with the reason for the existence of the MOC...really...you are gonna go there...how stupid are you really?

Porno Blog Connie, really? Women in rebel bikini's is porno? Are you that much of a prude?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Corey, don't dig yourself in deeper with more lies. I have screenshots. I have every one of the pics that were on there.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well Connie, I dare you to post them...

And don't censor them...if they are what you say they are...show them fully.

In any case, nothing I do comes close to equating the flogger desire to denigrate, evilize, hurt and harm, which is routinely exhibited by Simpson and his floggerette peanut gallery.

  35. Ms. Connie,
You said, "...Southerners who have an interest in the civil war are biased toward the Confederacy. The people biased in favor to the north are academics, civil rights activists and assorted diversity/inclusion/equality types (like Kristen Konate)...."

Actually those people biased in favor of the North are simply Marxists, pure and simple. All those you described fit into that category to some large degree. Know that Corey Darling can NEVER change his mind regardless to the facts and truths presented, simply because of his Marxist mindset. That mindset cannot allow or tolerate our views and understanding of not only history but life itself.

All I know is, where ever his after-life takes him and his minion friends, I do NOT ever want to go there. I want to be as far away from these people as I can possibly be! And you know as well as I, having a real good idea of where they're headed. The truth ain't in'em. Ain't ever been in'em, and ain't ever gonna be in'em. Hopefully you can now better see why they are our enemies and NOT our friends, much less our countrymen. They are simply part of God's accusers. Their self-being depends and lives off our blood, past, present and future! That's why we can NEVER change them, except to separate from them as far away as possible. This same thing has been happening all through history....

  36. Couple of things.
    First more news from CSoA.

Here is a small portion from Craig Maus' latest email news letter. This is quiet revealing, as even I had not heard this before...

    Read the following:

This past Sunday morning, November 17th, 2013, on ABCs THIS WEEK with host Martha Raddatz, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) admitted Democrats knew full well that Americans would be booted from their health insurance plans. The Senator further admitted: “the redistributive nature of ObamaCare was the point of the program; anyone claiming ignorance, therefore, is not telling the truth.”

Did you catch the statement…did you read the words and absorb them so you can truly begin understanding the Goliath we are up against? Here are the senators words again; “the redistributive nature of ObamaCare was the point of the program….”

    via Craig Maus
    President: Confederate Society of America

Here is my larger point from this as it relates to contracts, charters, constitutions and laws. As the above quote shows, the agenda of the Democrats and Marxists is the socialization and cummunization of this country. They will do ANYTHING to achieve this, as they have started wars, both at home and worldwide. They have bribed, cheated, blackmailed and worse to anyone who stands in their way. This includes a very large amount of propaganda, through the media and education.

Just as Bill Moyers said awhile back, the US Constitution is outdated and needs to be replaced, and of course Dem House Rep Lee from Texas is claiming the country needs martial law in order to further the democrat Marxist cause. And I could go on with many other such politicians saying similar things. None of these people live by any laws. Yet they expect everyone else too and at the point of a gun.

Lincoln and the Radical Republicans were part of this same mold and they showed everyone they didn't care for any laws, except the law of power and brute force. It is as Ms Connie said, you can't trust them, any of them, and this includes anything they call a compromise. Only gentlemen can compromise and they have NO gentlemen or ladies to do such.

Corey Darling doesn't care about any charters or contracts, much less the US Constitution. It is only a tool he uses to further his ambitions until he and his minions can scrap it. He ONLY cares about what he can get away with in communizing society. That applies to all of his kind.

As we know it was NEVER about race or slavery, and deep down they know this also, but can never admit it. They can't admit it because it is a main basis for their goals of communizing the usa and the world. It worked in establishing the USSR and other countries. Karl Marx devoted much effort in teaching how to use the race card in efforts to tear down a society, and the Marxists are having excellent results in the usa doing so.

By establishing a platform of conquest based on racism, their end goal is what they think is a classless society. Accomplishing this means the destruction of any other culture in the country. It means people cannot be different and MUST conform to a strict societal standard. Yet from this *classless* society comes a distinct class that has more perks and privileges which gives them dictatorial powers in certain areas far beyond their merits, and they use their power as tyrants upon a dumbed down society. At least that is the way it went down in the USSR and China, and now in Europe. This is what these idiots floggers and Yankees have been after all along. The Confederates represents the last biggest challenge to their ultimate goal of a classless society and their complete domination of everyone. Anything and everything representing the Confederacy, that philosophy being in the public arena MUST be destroyed according to their philosophy. Confederates have been scheduled for annihilation. It is only a matter of how they wish to conduct the genocide; by pen or sword, or both?

  37. Oddly I just received this from my close friend, Tim Manning. It goes hand in hand with my last post. He actually took up writing where I left off. Just know that when he refers to pagans, this includes Yankees, Liberals and Marxists, as they know not God we know. Nor do they understand the Scripture He gave us.

    By Tim Manning

A QUESTION OF LAW? NO! ~ In discussions with the secular Americans, American psychopathic LEOs, abusive and controlling elected officials and apostate Christians Southerners seek to present a moral approach to this pagan people who are without an absolute moral foundation, because their lives are lived apart from God and His revealed will. The spirit of will not always strive with a person or a nation. This is why they cannot recognise truth (historical or Theological) when it is documented and beautifully presented to them.

There is nothing for Christians to win in an argument (with pagans unless the pagan first comes to a saving knowledge of God. When a person thinks that the USA did the right thing against the CSA, Viet Nam, Iraq, Egypt, etc. they have no basis for a relationship with a Christian. When they have so coldly and repeatedly said "No" to the voice of God which can be heard everywhere in the USA, then there comes a time when their probation is closed and Christians should step back and allow the judgements of God to fall on them.

I only write in an attempt to remind civilized people about who they are and I do not write to convince pagans of a better way. When it comes to government two CANNOT walk together unless they agree on a basic moral foundation. This is why "the north" hated "the South." The South still held to an absolute standard of morality for principles of freedom and liberty while New Englanders were burning copies of the Constitution of the USA in the streets of their cities. We should not argue moral with a pagan. We should rule over them or separate from them.

Mein Gott, that's not the rule of a free society.

Actually it is. You are actually referring to a *Democratic* society where everyone is allowed a vote. Sorry to inform you but that has proven to be an inferior political system thousands of years ago. Democracy leads to mobocracy, which leads to tyranny. It's having 3 foxes and a chicken voting on what's for dinner.

Tim Manning is referring to restricted voting. OTOH if you believe in allowing everyone to vote, then you should let children, the dead, the illiterates, paupers and vagrants vote. In a Republic, most usually, not everyone is capable of voting, so they are disallowed.

I will even go so far as to say, even the wealthy people should not be allowed the vote. It's not about color, or handouts, but it is about abilities and responsibilities.

Aristotle said it best, the best government comes from the middle class. All the above is the reason there was such a thing as poll taxes and then Jim Crow Laws.

I can't help it if you're too shallow and slow to keep up. I haven't said the first thing that wasn't true concerning you. Nor can you disprove anything I said, because in trying to do so would only dig you deeper into your grave, proving I am right.

You can play innocent ignorant victim all you dare, but your own actions and words hang you. And sadly you can't even admit that.

The real reason you are here is because of your hate and your desire to control those that disagrees with you. If it wasn't us you were attacking, it would be some other group and person. Your battles will never be over until you and your kind controls the whole country and world. Currently we just happen to be the biggest stumbling blocks in your path to total conquest.

And as I said, the US Constitution means absolutely nothing to you, except a tool you can use at the moment to claim your rights and abilities in controlling others and events until such time legislation can be drafted to legislate your form of political system that better suits your control of others. The Yankees prior to 1860 were NO different. They burned copies of the US Constitution in the streets simply because they couldn't get their way at the moment. They were Marxists then, just as you are one today... Get used to it and be proud of what you really are. No use in denying it and being ashamed, unless you're trying to deceive other people who doesn't know any better.

  46. Mike,

You have been wrong about me from the first time you posted here.

You think I am a Marxist because I think Connie and her kind should understand the history of the Civil War and because it is not the Lost Cause version that you subscribe to then that means I am a Marxist.

You are correct on one thing...that I cannot disprove you...and that is correct I cannot disprove something that does not exist..ie) my Marxism.

For one thing, I don't hate Connie...hate is a very strong emotion and I don't really hate anyone. Connie and I disagree with the understanding of the history of the Civil War and a number of things associated with it and the current study of it. We also disagree with the motivations of the Va. Flaggers...but I don't hate the Va. Flaggers. I strongly dislike Tripp Lewis...but that is a whole other story.

You seem to believe that my views of what happened in this country between 1861-1865 dictates in me how I see the modern world. Well you are wrong. I am not a shill for liberals or for Obama. That has nothing to do with my views on Civil War history.

Where you fail is where you supplant what happened then with what you perceive as a continuation of some grand plot to destroy this country. With all your ranting about Marxism etc, I would not be surprise to find out you have been reading Al Benson and the Kennedy Brothers books on Uber Allies and Lincoln's Marxist. Try reading a real history book for once.

Your comment about Yankees burning copies of the Constitution in the streets because they could not get their way only show how shallow your knowledge in historical matters is. People like William Lloyd Garrison burnt copies of the Const. because they disagreed with the Const. protection of slavery. I suppose that was better than pro-slavery folks in SC burning abolitionist mailing at the post office. You see burning a copy of the Constitution is a protest. Burning mail is a violation of the 1st Amendment...Freedom of Press and Speech...a violation of the Constitution itself. And you wonder who really supported the US Const.?

Your claim of Marxism is only a ruse because you have no historical argument...you cannot compete with the facts surrounding the Civil War and slavery. So Marxist claims divert attention away from the discussion...a discussion where you do not have history on your side.

What a sad, sad little man.

BTW, Michael, are you a Tom Petty Fan?

  54. PART 1
    Mike,
“You have been wrong about me from the first time you posted here.”

No, you’ve shown yourself to be what you are. The sad part is, you deny what you prove yourself to be.
    -----

“You think I am a Marxist because I think Connie and her kind should understand the history of the Civil War and because it is not the Lost Cause version that you subscribe to then that means I am a Marxist.”

No… It’s not just understanding what you and your minions believes and teaches. You want everyone to live by those teachings as final. And to oppose your beliefs is to oppose you. You see those opposing you as villains standing in your way towards that great utopia society. A society where government becomes Big Brother and dictates to society how they are to live. Of course this means great social modifications and wealth redistribution, which comes in the form of many taxes.

What you fail to accept is that there is a connection between Lincoln and the Republicans of that era and today’s Democrats, plus the time period in-between which allowed these social programs and taxes to materialize. The process is purely Marxist by design, by the teachings of Marx and Engels. And there were 10s if not 100s of thousands of European immigrants that came here fleeing their failed Marxist revolution in Europe. Lincoln took them into the Republican Party and into the union army, even as generals. The Radical Republican Party was in effect the Marxist Party usa. Today the most radical elements have simply become Democrats.

Corey Darling, what you fail to realize is the fact that BOTH the Democrat and Republican Parties in the usa today trace their modern roots back to Lincoln, the Radical Republicans and the Marxist refugees fleeing Europe and becoming *good* Republicans first and then *good* Democrats later. The Constitutional Republic died with Lincoln’s presidency. So which are you Corey Darling; A *good* Democrat or Republican Marxist?
    ---

“For one thing, I don't hate Connie...hate is a very strong emotion and I don't really hate anyone.”

I’ve defined the word hate before. Its’ root is Greek, meaning loveless. Or the absence of love.
I hate lots of things. Doesn’t mean I want to hurt them. Simply means I don’t care for them. Your Twin Towers for example. I hate it happened, but I’m ambivalent to the whole thing. It’s not my concern, as it’s not part of my country. Not my people… If the government had acted responsibly years ago, this would have had zero chance of happening. As for you, I don’t care what you do, where you go or what you think. It’s not my concern. But the feelings ain’t mutual. Not by a long way. You have got to control everything and everyone for the good of society, which is again from Karl Marx. Yet you’ll deny you’re trying to control anything or anyone. Well, you’re here ain’t ya? The only reason Ms Connie is writing and doing what she doing is because people like Bwooks and YOU are trying to control events and espouse your version of history as the only truth. The worse problem is, that if you get your way Ms, Connie, me and people like us will be erased from existence, our culture, heritage and way of life destroyed. Again, Marx/Engels wrote much on how to homogenize society into one *so-called* classless system. Problem is a super class actually arises from it.
    ---

“Connie and I disagree with the understanding of the history of the Civil War and a number of things associated with it and the current study of it. ReplyDelete
  55. PART 2
The REASON you disagree is because of your mindset. Your mindset comes from your beliefs and principles. Your beliefs are also your faith. Your faith practiced is your religion. By your own writings you show a total DISREGARD for the US Constitution and the Rule of Law. As I stated in another post here, one can classify the real conservatives, the Constitutionalists from the Yankees, Liberal, Marxist simply by how they read and interpret the US Constitution. It is 100% foolproof, never wrong. Either you read the US Constitution Literally and Strictly, or you read it Figuratively and loosely with excuses for all the things that one does not want to be read Strictly in order changes be made for others specific gains.

Reading the US Constitution Literally and Strictly also means the states had every right to secede. It also means that Lincoln committed treason several times in his war against the South. And he committed treason against the North also! Lincoln was the first president to figuratively interpret the US Constitution and get away with the unlawful acts he committed. Because Lincoln set the precedence of how the US Constitution was read and interpreted, all future presidents also done similar and eventually this included Congress and the US Supreme Court. Today practically anything wrote in the US Constitution is open for reinterpretation and debate. This is how we got Social Security, the Income Tax and many thousands of unconstitutional laws. And today we are getting the AHCA (Affordable Health Care Act) by the same unconstitutional means. As I have written many times, Lincoln is quoted as saying, “In saving the union I have destroyed the Republic.” He told the truth for once….. So, you would rather have a union than a Republic… and that is what you got…
    -------------------------------------------------------

“You seem to believe that my views of what happened in this country between 1861-1865 dictates in me how I see the modern world. Well you are wrong. I am not a shill for liberals or for Obama. That has nothing to do with my views on Civil War history.”

As I stated before, one can be a *good* Republican and still have the Marxist mindset. And to be honest about it, from my POV, most people do have that mindset. Honestly from my POV, people like Ms Connie, myself and those like us, we are highly out-numbered. It doesn’t make us wrong, or right for that matter. But it does say that the vast majority of people since Lincoln’s War doesn’t understand what real Capitalism is or what being a Republic really means as it concerns government’s influence and direction of its’ people today. That is simply because of what is being accepted and taught in the public educational system. The media and even the churches helps fulfill this job today. Originally in its’ day it was related to Reconstruction. Problem was the people in the North didn’t know they were being reconstructed also.

Your views on Lincoln’s War shows your mindset and principles from which your mindset comes. You deny the Strict US Constitutional interpretations that was accepted until Lincoln became president. Then you deny Lincoln’s own words in making the whole issue based almost exclusively on slavery, when in fact slavery wasn’t the main issue at all. Then you deny the monetary aspects of taxes and tariffs, though not the main instigator of the war either, it was more of an issue than the slavery issue. This is just a small example showing your stated thoughts.

  56. PART 3
Putting those thoughts in perspective shows someone who believes in a LIBERAL interpretation of the US Constitution. It shows someone who denies obvious stated facts by making excuses that EXCLUDES those obvious stated facts from consideration. All these things and more shows a person who makes EXCUSES in order to justify their principles, of which becomes what they believe, as faith so-to-speak. If you do this here, making exceptions, you will continually make excuses anywhere in the US Constitution that you desire a certain outcome. Meaning the US Constitution, while it may temporarily hinder you in achieving your goals, it limits you very little in your long range goals, as people and events can be manipulated and changed over time to cause a different understanding and acceptance, meaning a favorable outcome. Again Marx and Engels have done brilliant work in teaching how to re-educate the masses, over time in order to achieve long range goals. It’s all from his playbook, and you haven’t read any of his detailed writings.

RoboCop doesn’t have a clue about the 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto, yet they are alive and well in the usa today, being practiced unhindered. Is it or is it not your mindset also? What happened to the freedom and liberties of “Live and Let Live?” None of that exists today, as it all exists for the betterment of society. Regardless to you being a Republican or Democrat, YOU are part of the process and problem. You are either a *good* Democrat or Republican Marxist as both sides are practicing the same things to different degrees.

“Where you fail is where you supplant what happened then with what you perceive as a continuation of some grand plot to destroy this country. With all your ranting about Marxism etc, I would not be surprise to find out you have been reading Al Benson and the Kennedy Brothers books on Uber Allies and Lincoln's Marxist. Try reading a real history book for once.”

I find that hilarious! You’re now making me laugh…..
    ---

“Your comment about Yankees burning copies of the Constitution in the streets because they could not get their way only show how shallow your knowledge in historical matters is. And you wonder who really supported the US Const.?”

Actually the Constitution burning happened at different times in different places in Northern areas. I’ll let you read it for yourself.
The question really is; which one shows the most disgust, contempt and disregard for the country? One is directed at the whole country while another is directed at only one segment of society. Makes me wonder though if there were Northerners doing the same thing who supported slavery? Afterall those Yankee merchantmen were very mad at losing all that slave trade money. Not just to the usa but anywhere. (No use to answer the last question as I am not going further off the original topic.)

  57. You know Mikey...you got me right...nailed...dead on. Can believe you found me out. I have tried so hard to hide my views from you but you were just to smart. I need to get up earlier I guess to out-smart you.

I guess I will shut down my blog, burn on my books on the Civil War and just go hang out with my fellow comrades and lament what could have been had the country not be saved by little old, Tom Petty Loving Michael Lamb.

    Sigh...

  58. Then you did photoshop the image Connie.

  59. See what I mean Corey? Mention one thing and he goes off on a tangent. If you search COnnie's blog for some of his phrases, you'll see him say that same thing over and over. "10 planks alive and well in the USA" blah blah blah.

  60. Rob, do you have a problem comprehending this?

"The fact that I did not photoshop this image, except for the text in the brown box -- that I did not design or create it, matters not."

    ReplyDelete
  61. Connie,

If you applied any photoshop technique to the image you photoshopped it.

Changing the wording with photoshop or any similar program is "photoshopping". Granted you did not make the image...you did not merge to two images of the building together, but you did alter the original form of the picture...even ever so slightly...you photoshopped it.

It really is the simple things you have trouble with isn't it?

  62. Corey, what is there about the word "except" that you don't grasp? As in this phrase,"... I did not photoshop this image, except for the text in the brown box..."

I DID NOT PHOTOSHOP ... EXCEPT.

That means I DID photoshop what's described in the exception -- the text in the brown box.

    Sheesh....

  63. So you photoshopped the images...like Rob and I said.

"So you photoshopped the images...like Rob and I said."

Corey Darling, RoboCop, not so fast... or you'll shoot yourself in the foot trying to *quick draw* too fast! Ooops, you already have shot yourself in the foot!

I explained in another topic concerning the photoshopping of Bwooks that the picture is the MAIN subject and any wording or writing describing the picture is NOT the main subject. However the wording concerning any picture or illustration is simply a *caption*. A caption *CAN* be printed below the picture or around the picture for the *PURPOSES* of suggestion, reference, association, description or simply a comment. This variety is possible *BECAUSE* the caption is NOT the subject matter.

For those of *Limited Intelligence*, here is the definition of *caption* from the "Free Dictionary".

"A title, short explanation, or description accompanying an illustration or a photograph. 2. A series of words superimposed on the bottom of television or motion ..."

It makes NO difference what you, Connie, I or anyone writes below a picture, Photoshopped or not, as it makes a statement in relation tot he picture, of which THAT picture is the MAIN subject. Using Photoshop and any picture editing program is NO different than simply using a Word program to create one's own statement in regards to a picture or illustration. Again it is the picture itself that is the main subject, NOT the caption!

Therefore it goes back to the one who first photoshopped the two museums who bears responsibility for the Photoshopping. Right or wrong is NOT the question concerning the original Photoshopped picture, but it is the caption itself that the original author used that is in question. The original author ONLY gave his *OPINION* of what he thought of the picture he Photoshopped. Ms Connie did likewise and gave her OPINION of what she thought about the picture. And guess what? I agree with her caption.... It better tells the storyline of what is becoming of the two museums. But it is only my OPINION. But guess what else? You are entitled to your OPINION too! Problem is Marxist Yankees can't leave well enuff alone. No sir, they gotta control and manipulate everything else from everyone, and if they don't like something, then they attack the messenger in order to promote ONLY their views....

BTW, and you can believe this or not, I don't care one whit, but I'm gonna tell'ya anyways. Just so you'll know in the back of your tiny mind.

I mentioned earlier that it was best NEVER to donate anything of historic significance to any museum or anyone, or any org. I say this from experience because my family has in its' possession several pieces of paperwork from a famous president. It was passed down through the family because we are that presidents descendents. I happened to be closely enuff related that I actually received a small part of the family inheritance, which had been passed down. It is also how I received part of my private education, after I left college. But I guarantee you those few papers will NEVER EVER make it to the public for viewing or study. There is simply nothing to be gained by it, except trouble.
