You said, "Susan Hathaway says you do their heavy hitting." You said, "I saw where she said it."
Where did you see it? How about linking to it? Also, that's not an exact quote. I. Want. Her. Exact. Quote. And a link to it. Tanks.
After checking into it a little more, the Flagger events (i.e., events sponsored by the VaFlaggers) that I admit Matt Heimbach attended is ... None, zero, zilch, nada. How many do you know of? I don't mean events sponsored by others that the VaFlaggers attended (the attendance at which the VaFlaggers had no control over) -- some of which Heimbach also attended. I mean VaFlagger events. Please identify them for us, by date and location. Tanks.
Al took quite a humiliating beating, andghe was exposed for the fabulous fraud that he is. He won't be back. The place was starting to stink anyway, so it is a very good thing he is gone.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie. Let's see now. I've shown that you engage in what you, yourself define as "cyber stalking" in others. I've shown that you allow people to violate the so-called "rules" of your blog when they happen to be attacking people who disagree with you. I've shown your position on marriage equality is based on hatred of people who are different from you. I've shown that your position on marriage equality is the same as the position against allowing people of different races to marry.
ReplyDeleteAs to Susan Hathaway's remark, it was on Facebook last summer, as you well know. I saw it and you saw it. Whether it has been removed by now or not, I don't know, but as I'm sure you're aware searching for a specific remark on Facebook is nearly impossible. The quote was "I leave the heavy hitting to Ms. Connie." Heimbach marched with the flaggers, was embraced by the flaggers, with one flagger saying something to the effect that he was a good guy and they let folks in based on their views of the flag [I don't recall the exact quote. It was also made on Facebook], and was even invited to the flaggers' picnic. As to "flagger events," you keep shifting around. At first you claimed zero, then you claimed one, then I believe you may have claimed two or perhaps you said one or two. Now you're saying zero again. You defend someone who said he wished a woman would get violently raped and attack those who complained about what he said. As I see it, your hatred, mendacity, hypocrisy, and fraud have been exposed for all to see.

ReplyDeleteYou've shown none of that. You've SPUN that.
Al:"As to Susan Hathaway's remark, it was on Facebook last summer, as you well know. I saw it and you saw it. It was on Backsass. It isn't there now. Only the OP, an admin and Facebook can remove threads; I didn't remove it, so I assume the OP did. I don't remember now who that was. But there was absolutely nothing objectionable about the original post or the comments that would have a caused me to remove it.
"Heimbach marched with the flaggers,"
There's no evidence he "marched with" the Flaggers. If you are talking about the photo of him behind the VaFlaggers' banner, they weren't marching, they were posing for a photo. As one of them pointed out to me, you couldn't possibly "march" that close together without stumbling over each others' feet. What was caught the instant the shutter snapped doesn't tell us what happened before or after. The VaFlaggers along with other groups and many individuals attended that heritage day event. Even if Heimbach (or anyone else) "marched with" them that day, that doesn't make him a VaFlagger.
He was also videotaped walking up the driveway at the opening of the Appomattox branch of the MOBTC with several VaFlaggers, at the same time many, many others were walking the same area. He wasn't "marching with" the VaFlaggers, and one witness indicates he was apparently with the Mechanized Cavalry.
Neither of these events were VaFlagger events as they have been falsely identified by floggers. (Continued)
"...was embraced by the flaggers,
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't "embraced" by the VaFlaggers.
"with one flagger saying something to the effect that he was a good guy and they let folks in based on their views of the flag [I don't recall the exact quote. It was also made on Facebook],
It was Tripp Lewis. He is A VaFlagger, he is not THE VaFlaggers. This attributing a statement by one person to all is a typical flogger dirty trick. Tripp said, "Matthew is a good guy. He has every right to honor his ancestors and march with us. Unlike the floggers we don't get personal with other issues and we pay attention to one thing. Honoring the confederate soldier."
Tripp said that before information about Heimbach's white supremacist activities were known to the VaFlaggers. I think Tripp would not consider white supremacist activity merely "other issues" -- I've certainly seen no support from him for it. Ever. If you have, post it, coward.
In any case, Tripp's statement is not an "embrace" -- certainly not by the whole group -- and until and unless you can find more than one statement (NOT mischaracterized by the floggers like this one) by many VaFlaggers, particularly the core members, the notion that Heimbach was "embraced by the VaFlaggers" is a knowing, blatant and odious lie.
"and was even invited to the flaggers' picnic."
The VaFlagger picnic invitation went out to ALL members of an OPEN (i.e., anybody can join, you don't have to be a member of the VaFlaggers to join) FB group, which had over 700 members at the time; and the vast majority were NOT VaFlaggers, so that proves nothing.
"As to "flagger events," you keep shifting around. At first you claimed zero, then you claimed one, then I believe you may have claimed two or perhaps you said one or two.
I was going by what I had managed to find out at the time. I knew that two of the photos Simpson was lying about were from two different events. I didn't know what events they were at the time.
Since then, I've had time to check into it more, and NEITHER of the events at which Heimbach was photographed with VaFlaggers in the same frame, were VaFlagger events. In fact, there is some indication that at the opening of the MOTBC Appomattox, he was with the Mechanized Cavalry.
"Now you're saying zero again."
Yep. Those two events were not VaFlagger events (i.e., were not sponsored by the VaFlaggers). They were events sponsored by others which several groups and many people attended. As far as I've been determined, he has never attended ANY VaFlagger events.
"You defend someone who said he wished a woman would get violently raped and attack those who complained about what he said."
I said his statement was inappropriate and made in anger, and that he didn't mean it, and people who KNOW him -- people who count -- agree with me about that. You DON'T know him, and you (and your fellow floggers and floggerettes who "complained" about it) are making this judgment about him based on your prejudice, bigotry and animosity.
"As I see it, your hatred, mendacity, hypocrisy, and fraud have been exposed for all to see."
You see it wrong; you see it through your bigotry and animosity for Southern heritage and its supporters.
So then you asked for a link knowing that the post had been removed. Thanks for admitting to being a fraud. Trippie didn't say "I" in his post; he said "we." And, if I recall correctly, at least one other person "liked" his comment. I don't recall any flaggers contradicting Trippie's statement. Trippie sure thought he was speaking for the flaggers.
ReplyDeleteI know you're not going to admit the truth, Connie. It's enough for me that I've demonstrated what's going on.
I said the post isn't there now. Facebook's search engine has found things it previously couldn't find. I've had that happen twice -- a search found nothing, and a later search turned up the posts. I didn't say the OP DID remove it, only that I assume s/he did, but if s/he didn't, it might still turn up in a subsequent search. All I can say for certain is that I didn't remove it.
ReplyDeleteI doubt most of the VaFlaggers are aware of Tripp's statement, or Simpson's blog and his attempts to slander them ...and not aware of Heimbach or his activities.
You've demonstrated your bigotry and animosity, Al.
