Al, here's an example of blatant lying...

...from your good friend, Brooks Devious Simpson:
"Connie continues to do the heavy hitting for the Virginia Flaggers, and she represents them as they should be represented. They embrace her just as they embrace Matthew Heimbach, and for much the same reasons."
(1) I don't do "heavy hitting" for the VaFlaggers. This has been explained more than once, he has read the explanation, and still he lies.

(2) I don't represent the VaFlaggers. This has been explained more than once, he has read the explanation, and still he lies.

(3) They don't embrace Matthew Heimbach. This has been explained more than once, he has read the explanation, and still he lies.
"That she seeks to provide cover for people who want people raped while at the same time asserting that men are falsely accused of rape tells us what she really thinks of southern womanhood … and women in general."
I have provided no cover for people who want people raped. That has been explained, too, and I know he has seen the explanation, and he chooses to continue to lie about it. That's the kind of person he is.

Some men ARE falsely accused of rape, and not merely accused, but tried, convicted and imprisoned on a false accusation of rape.  The Innocence Project

My definition of Southern womanhood is the OPPOSITE of that portion of "women in general" who,  for example, hook up, sleep around, have morning-after regrets, and then accuse the man she voluntarily took to bed the night before of rape. "Southern womanhood" encompasses many traits, but not that.

But will this explanation of the truth matter to him? No. He is a colossal liar, and he appears to be addicted to lying about and denigrating Southern heritage people, with the VaFlaggers (who have done absolutely NOTHING to him) at the top of the list.

Speaking of lists, look at the left sidebar <---- at the 139 posts at Simpson's blog attacking, slandering, harassing and persecuting the VaFlaggers. (It has already increased with more posts/comments since I updated it).

This is NOT about "disagreeing" with people who "get history wrong." Try as Simpson might to deny it, this kind of pathological behavior is based in hatred.

Susan Hathaway says you do their heavy hitting. That's good enough for me. Is she a liar now, too? Your "explanation" doesn't ring true.

You sure act as if you do. Actions speak louder than words.

They do embrace him. They say wonderful things about him, they invite him to their picnic, and they haven't disavowed him or his beliefs. Again, your "explanation" doesn't match the facts.

You're still doing it with regard to Mr. Bearden.

You say that, but then you defend a person who openly advocated for a woman being violently raped.

"But will this explanation of the truth matter to him?"
    -
You label it an explanation of the truth, but your actions are contrary to your words.

    Does this mean you're a cyber-stalker, Connie?

To use one of your expressions, "So you can see into his heart? You're God?"

  2. Al: "Susan Hathaway says you do their heavy hitting. That's good enough for me. Is she a liar now, too? Your "explanation" doesn't ring true."

    She didn't say that, Al.

Al: "You sure act as if you do. Actions speak louder than words."

Your interpretation of my actions is wrong. I don't represent the Virginia Flaggers, and have said so repeatedly. I upload content THEY SEND ME to their blog. I have never written anything for their blog. I do SUPPORT them with my writing -- enthusiastically so -- but that is solely at my initiative.

All the dead-horse items re: Heimbach that you are beating have been more than explained. That you reject the explanation and continue to beat them, betrays your bigotry, Al. Own it. You reject my explanation (you couldn't name any facts they don't "match" if you tried) because of your prejudice about the VaFlaggers.

Billy Bearden doesn't want people raped and I'm sure you know it. His comment has been explained, too, and you are rejecting it because of your bigotry against Southern heritage. This it is something you and Simpson will orgiastically hammer from now until doomsday, but it is not true, and you both know it. Fortunately, people who matter understand that he didn't mean it.

The List means I've means I've documented Simpson's attacking, slandering, harassing and persecuting the VaFlaggers.

I haven't claimed to see into Simpson's heart (assuming he has one, and it hasn't shriveled and atrophied) the way you claimed to know what was in Billy's. Hatred (as demonstrated by Simpson's attacks on the VaFlaggers) is an attitude (from the mind), not an emotion (from the heart), and he has demonstrated it repeatedly -- more than 139 times -- for as long as the VaFlaggers have been in existence.

    1. Connie claims, "She didn't say that, Al."
Yes, she did, Connie. I saw where she said it. Stop telling fibs.

"Your interpretation of my actions is wrong. I don't represent the Virginia Flaggers, and have said so repeatedly." And yet here you are trying to speak for them.

"All the dead-horse items re: Heimbach that you are beating have been more than explained. That you reject the explanation and continue to beat them, betrays your bigotry, Al. Own it."

Wrong again, Connie. It shows that I can correctly compare actions to claims and know where the two don't match. The so-called "explanations" are simply more fibs. I notice that you originally claimed Heimbach wasn't involved in any flagger events, then you modified that to one event. I've lost count. How many events have you admitted to now?

"You reject my explanation (you couldn't name any facts they don't "match" if you tried) because of your prejudice about the VaFlaggers."

      I've already posted the facts.

"Billy Bearden doesn't want people raped and I'm sure you know it." He said it, and to my knowledge he has neither retracted it nor apologized for it. Therefore he meant it.

"His comment has been explained, too, and you are rejecting it because of your bigotry against Southern heritage." No, I reject it because I reject lies.

"The List means I've means I've documented Simpson's attacking, slandering, harassing and persecuting the VaFlaggers." By your own definition, then, you are a cyber stalker.

"I haven't claimed to see into Simpson's heart" Stop fibbing, especially since your posts are there for all to see. Even a neoconfederate would be able to recognize the disparity between what you posted and this claim.

    2. Al: "Yes, she did, Connie. I saw where she said it. Stop telling fibs."

Really? Where did you see it? How about linking to it? You said, "Susan Hathaway says you do their heavy hitting." That's not an exact quote.

      I. Want. Her. Exact. Quote.
      And a link to it.

Al: " And yet here you are trying to speak for them."

I am speaking FOR ME in support of them, not speaking for them.

Al: "Wrong again, Connie. It shows that I can correctly compare actions to claims and know where the two don't match. The so-called "explanations" are simply more fibs. After checking into it a little more, the Flagger events (i.e., events sponsored by the VaFlaggers) that I admit he attended is ... None, zero, zilch, nada.

How many do you know of? I don't mean events sponsored by others that the VaFlaggers attended (the attendance at which the VaFlaggers had no control over) -- some of which Heimbach also attended. I mean VaFlagger events.

Al: "I've already posted the facts."

Then humor me and post some more -- like identifying (date and location will do) of the VaFlagger-sponsored events Heimbach attended ....

Al: "Billy Bearden doesn't want people raped and I'm sure you know it." He said it, and to my knowledge he has neither retracted it nor apologized for it. Therefore he meant it.

To your knowledge? Do I hafta remind you, you don't have total knowledge, Al?

Al: "No, I reject it because I reject lies."

LOL! No you don't, You accept lies you want to believe, and not only that -- you perpetrate them.

Al: "The List means I've means I've documented Simpson's attacking, slandering, harassing and persecuting the VaFlaggers." By your own definition, then, you are a cyber stalker.

Nope. Not the same thing. Helga Ross didn't put up 139+ posts at the civil war discussion group attacking Brooks Simpson, that he brought back and documented on his blog.. She posted her views about history. He stalked her to bring her comments ABOUT HISTORY (not about him) back to his blog to ridicule and mock (and to use to ridicule and mock HER).

What *I* document from his blog is his 139+ posts attacking, slandering, harassing and persecuting the VaFlaggers.(and sometimes his attack on other Southern heritage folks). For crying out loud, Al, HE ATTACKED SUSAN FOR WEARING RED TOPS.

If you don't see the difference, you're too far off the deep end, and I can't help you.

"I haven't claimed to see into Simpson's heart" Stop fibbing, especially since your posts are there for all to see. Even a neoconfederate would be able to recognize the disparity between what you posted and this claim.

Okay, post where I said I have claimed to see into Simpson's heart. Those words. Post it. Link to it. The kind of behavior he exhibits, Al, does not originate in the heart. It comes from the mind.

I documented what he has repeatedly done for two years UNDER NO PERSONAL PROVOCATION FROM THE VAFLAGGERS WHATSOFLIPPIN' EVER.

Billy's comment, however crude and inappropriate, was not the latest of 139+ attacks, and it was mightily provoked, (and it's not just heritage folks who are provoked about it) -- and people who know him didn't take it seriously for a minute. VaFlagger-haters have been lapping up Simpson's 139+ attack posts about the VAFlaggers for OVER TWO YEARS and they believe it like Holy Writ.

Is the difference starting to dawn on you yet?

    4. Since the person you are arguing with does not seem to have the link can you show me where Mr. Bearden apologized for wishing a woman to be raped?

      Delete
    5. No, I can't, Mr. Nelson. I don't think Billy meant his remark so I wasn't "outraged." That being the case, I don't need to hear an apology from him so haven't gone looking for one.

    6. He did, it was on a facebook post.

  3. Scotsman Al is a rather hate filled individual. I don't know the reason for the hate-filled rants on Simpson's blog, the use of sock-puppets, or the deletion of any opposing views on this own blog. Sometimes, I think the man has issues, but maybe its a Vermont Scot thing. I suppose he's just a lefty with no one left to hate in Vermont, so he chose you and people who are proud of their Southern Heritage.

    1. Hate-filled? I'm not the one who openly and publicly prayed for a woman to be violently raped. How is it you don't think that is hate-filled? Where did you get Scotsman? And where did you get Vermont? And where did you get "lefty?" Now that you've demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge of what you're talking about, you can go.

  4. I could be wrong, but I think Al's in Pennsylvania -- home state of Obama's small-town bitter clingers. Maybe that's Al's problem. Too many people bitterly clinging to guns and Bibles in his state.

    1. You know exactly where I am, Connie. As a proud supporter of the entire Constitution, I have no problem with folks who have guns, Bibles, or both.

    2. So much the worse for Pennsylvania. I thought his T-shirt said Vermont. But no matter. Another problem with "Big Al" is he's a pompous ass who constantly lectures and asks questions. You see "Big Al" has questions - and demands answers. And he's also quite evasive. Notice he won't say where he is. He won't say he's a lefty or not. He even acts puzzled about the "Scotsman" jibe.

  5. RCOCEAN is quite correct, although there is no mystery to Al. He is a garden-variety, hate-filled, limousine-liberal fraud. Very simple really.

  6. Anyway, I have no dog in this fight, except it seems people on one side seem rather hate-filled and bigoted - and motivated by God knows what - while the other side just wishes to honor their ancestors.

    1. I would say its partly misguided fear based on a faulty idea of who and what sort of people they believe all of us to be.
The other part would be partisan politics posing as historical "memory".
